Show Notes

Happy second week of Pride month! This week's all new Beau My God episode features both founding members and members of the board of directors, for the Pride Cheerleading Association (PCA), an affiliation of Member Teams united by a common philanthropic mission: to support people living with life-challenging conditions in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. Conceived in 2004 from the natural evolution of community-based, charitable cheerleading, PCA is now a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization.

Host Beau Bradley (he/they) sits down with 5 enchanting guests, including PCA co-founder and current Secretary, Sara Toogood (she/her); PCA Co-Founder and member of CHEER Salt Lake, Valina Eckley (she/her); PCA Board Director and Coach for Cheer New York, Colyn Fiendel-Milani (he/him); Program Director for CHEER SF and  former PCA Board President , Anthony Chavira (he/him); and last but certainly not least, 19-year performing member CHEER SF, Nguyen Pham (he/him), to talk about charitable cheerleading; Gay Games 2022 in Hong Kong, and the Federation of Gay Games; and the history behind the charitable organization, originating in San Francisco, California, U.S.A, in the 1980s.

Listen in as the six dynamic  volun-cheerleaders discuss community, fundraising, the global reach of PCA Worldwide..wide..wide... (sorry I had to!), and so, so much more!
